JOB SUMMARY:

The primary function of the Electromechanical Assembler/Field Service Technician is to perform mechanical assembly, installation, and wiring of components on a wide variety of equipment designed and built by Apex, both in-house and at customer sites. This equipment includes water treatment equipment, specialty manufacturing systems and a variety of other specialty equipment. The individual in this position will also provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and repairing systems and equipment as needed.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, and Production Prints
  • Install mechanical components (i.e. pumps, valves, sensors, etc.) per design
  • Install mechanical piping (may consist of PVC, CPVC, PE, PVDF, PFA, etc.) to and from various components on a skid or within a process tool per design
  • Follow an electrical schematic to assemble electrical control enclosures per design, pull wire feeding various circuits and terminate wires at point-of-use and within control enclosures
  • Run conduit (PVC, flex, rigid-coated, etc.) between control enclosures, pumps and instrumentation
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Conduct I/O and loop checks
  • Lead factory acceptance testing of equipment
  • Install and commission equipment at customer sites, ensuring it is set up and functioning properly
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer locations
  • Project professional image of the company through a positive and helpful attitude at all times at customer sites, using clear and consistent communication to keep customers apprised of job status
  • Document all work performed, including test results and repair actions taken, in compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Clean and maintain work areas
  • Work hours necessary to support Company demand
  • Train and assist others as required
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and willingness to go above and beyond to satisfy customer needs
  • Experience installing mechanical components and piping, running conduit, following electrical schematics, pulling wire feeding various circuits and performing basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of PLCs and control systems
  • Exceptional work ethic, “can-do” attitude and team player
  • Willing and able to adhere to all Company policies, including strict adherence to safety procedures
  • Willing and able to learn, understand and support the Company’s quality objectives
  • Able to work independently with minimal instruction/supervision and effectively plan, organize and execute own activities
  • Able to lift and move 50 pounds of material unassisted
  • Flexible and adaptable by nature; able to work well under pressure and within changing environments
  • Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment necessary for job duties performed
  • Willing to cross-train as needed
  • Willingness to work weekend hours as needed and ability to travel to customer locations as required based on the company’s needs (minimum of 25% travel)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Design Engineer is to utilize SolidWorks on a daily basis to generate piece part files, assembly models, and document drawing packages. Apollo offers a wide variety of goods across many industries, so no two projects are alike. Projects include custom machinery design, plastic and metal piece parts, large-scale plumbing assemblies, and framing design. The Design Engineer will guide and mentor drafters and other engineers in the engineering department. Additionally, the Design Engineer will work directly with team members on the manufacturing floor on a daily basis to ensure parts or projects are being built per the prints and answer questions as they arise.


JOB DUTIES:

  • Generate 3D modeling utilizing SolidWorks
  • Generate documents and control drawings via SolidWorks
  • Generate P&IDs for large plumbing system projects via Microsoft Visio
  • Prepare customer facing drawing packages
  • Prepare internal production drawings and Bill of Materials for component/ material ordering
  • Work with vendors to obtain information on various purchased components
  • Answer questions from production colleagues
  • Participate as an active work team member
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of technical school or equivalent
  • 5 + years of experience in the plumbing, water treatment or industrial equipment market (preferred)
  • Previous experience using SolidWorks (or equivalent software) and Microsoft Office suite are required; Visio experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision; effectively plan, organize and execute own activities
  • Flexible and adaptable by nature; works well under pressure and within changing environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with customers, vendors, manufacturing, and office personnel
  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets, ISO documents, engineering documents and drawings
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk and work on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Willingness to cross-train as needed
  • Adherence to all Company policies

JOB SUMMARY:

The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a team of engineers to design custom industrial water and process systems. The individual in this position will oversee the team of individuals responsible for the CAD modeling of various components and systems, combining technical expertise with leadership and management skills to ensure the success of our projects. They will also be responsible for seeking out continuous improvement opportunities across all equipment manufacturing and fabrication areas by leveraging new technology, data and processes.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage the design team for custom water and process equipment, fostering a collaborate and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and development and setting clear goals and expectations and providing regular feedback to team members
  • Identify and help drive continuous improvement throughout ATG’s manufacturing operations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the company
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure our customer-facing deliverables adhere to committed timelines and quality expectations of customers
  • Ensure that all engineering projects meet the highest quality and safety standards and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and codes and address and resolve any quality or compliance issues in a timely manner
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes and enable cost competitiveness in market offerings
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to source necessary materials and equipment
  • Be actively engaged in proposal development work, offering insights and reviewing and approving engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Periodically travel to various locations for in-person meetings, conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Work effectively with administration and management to ensure all documentation is completed accurately
  • Provide necessary reporting to other company management personnel

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 10+ years of related industry experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong managerial and communication skills
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Proficiency with PDM platforms
  • Gibbs and Visio experience (preferred)
  • Ability to report to St. Michael office as primary office but willing and able to travel to Chanhassen office on a regular basis (~1x/week)
  • Ability to coordinate and work effectively on multiple projects or tasks

JOB SUMMARY

As the President of Process, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Process Division, which provides a wide variety of goods and services for our customers.  This role provides leadership and oversight of our sales, estimating, engineering, production management, customer relations and sourcing activities. 

JOB DUTIES

  • Work with our QEHS department to keep our people safe and ensuring the company complies with all environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements in the water treatment and manufacturing sector
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our market penetration in fabrication, industrial controls and water and process equipment
  • Work across divisions and across departments to optimize our business processes to reduce inefficiencies as well as reduce friction for our customers and employees
  • Ensure adherence to quality control measures so that our products meet the highest industry standards and customer requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and lead efforts to introduce innovative practices and technologies into our processes
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire teams of employees in estimating, sales, engineering, production, customer relations, and procurement to achieve operational excellence
  • Division P&L responsibility to include annual budgeting
  • Lead efforts in the development of the division's long-term strategic plans and objectives in support of the overall company’s strategic plan and objectives
  • Identify potential risks in the company’s processes and implement mitigation strategies to maintain continuity of operations
  • Provide regular progress reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing processes with a proven track record of successful leadership
  • Strong knowledge of highly-engineered custom systems, fabrication, industrial processes, and quality control
